Empowering Parents through psycho-educational parenting programs:
Beck believes that providing a child with a secure base is integral in providing opportunities for optimal emotional, cognitive and physical growth. Because of this, Beck has become certified in two parenting psycho-education programs; Circle of Security (CoSI) and Bringing Up Great Kids (ACF).
Circle of Security
This 8- week program focusses on attachment within the parent/caregiver and child dyad and aims to enhance these connections by teaching parents the value of responding to their child’s emotional cues. This deepened connection aims to result in providing the emotional support to aid children in developing secure attachment, build resilience and prepare them for school readiness.

Infants (0-2 years)
Early childhood (3-5 years)
Primary school (6-12 years)
At-risk or vulnerable (Intensive Family Preservation or Intensive Family Restoration)
Bringing Up Great Kids
This 8- week program concentrates on educating a parent/ caregiver about sequential brain development in children and how that can differ in children who experience trauma. Beck is a neurodivergence affirming practitioner and is able to tailor this program to each family’s needs by incorporating neurodiversity affirming brain development research into the program.
